WiFi 7 RF Front End Modules for Ultra-High-Speed Connections

Micro Mobio Corporation, a global leader in designs, development and supply of a broad range of RF MMIC’s solutions, introduced a family of SuperCruise® modules for ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi applications. MMFE600 E-Series and MMFE600 C-Series (Fig. 1) have been developed using advanced semiconductor technology to support massive throughput gains promised by the new Wi-Fi 7 standards. For decades, Micro Mobio has crafted RF solutions for applications with stiff CCDF power curve. As the new spectrum opens, chipset providers are racing to deliver seamless fiber-like user experience utilizing high order digital modulation up to 4K QAM, Micro Mobio's new high linearity RF front-end modules are capable of receiving and transmitting the ultra-pure antenna signal as required by the new wideband signal format.

Wi-Fi 7 is ushering a new era of wireless connectivity, which will dramatically bring the wireless VR/AR universe closer to reality for enhanced user experiences. By doubling Wi-Fi channel bandwidth to 320 MHz, either the QFN packaged MMFE600 E-Series or the chip-scale packaged MMFE600 C-Series makes them the ideal candidates to utilize the full channel spectrum. Micro Mobio's SuperCruise® Technology will expand the performance envelop to 4K QAM for ultra HD streaming, wireless gaming, real-time collaboration, interactive telemedicine, and other exciting applications.
SuperCruise ®RFFE modules enables RF designers to harness the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 7GHz frequency bands with one single SKU reducing the size and RF complexity of Wi-Fi 7 platforms. Integrated on a monolithic semiconductor substrate, the modules include highly-efficient PA’s, LNA’s, SW’s, impedance matching networks, bias control, and power sensors to simplify design and manufacturing of end products The advanced bias control and compensation circuitry ensures stable performance over a wide operating range ing. These ultra linear modules are optimized for the high efficiency required by battery-powered devices with reduced BOM and accelerated time-to-market.
